It’s the FINAL week of school for 2024, GCISD! Keep up the hard work, stay focused and make these last few days count. As a reminder, this Friday, December 20, is an early release day for ALL GCISD students, except for those attending iUniversity Prep.
As we head into the winter break, make sure to stay informed about upcoming holidays and important dates by checking your school’s instructional calendar: www.gcisd.net/instructional-calendars.
If you plan on attending the upcoming Pep Rally (Red Rail “MASH the Mustangs”) at 8:50 a.m. on Friday, November 8, you must check in at one of the front entrance security kiosks to get a visitor's badge. Checking in requires a government-issued ID to verify your identity.
If you want to skip the line, submit a Visitor Fast Pass Request (https://bit.ly/4ehoFJG) by noon the day before the event's start. A staff member will meet you at the door with your pre-printed visitor's badge. Fast-passes will not begin until 8:15 a.m. on the day of the pep rally.
Note: For your convenience, guest parking is available on the front drive. Please be aware that numbered spots are reserved for CHHS staff and students. We kindly ask all guests to enter through the front of the building.
Early voting begins today, Monday, October 21, and continues through Friday, November 1. Tarrant County registered voters can vote at any Vote Center location during Early Voting and on Election Day. Visit www.GCISD.net/VATRE to learn more about Proposition A: the Voter-Approved Tax Ratification Election (VATRE) and to view the early voting schedule.
